From York to Stratford

Today was mostly a travel day. We had a late morning departure out of York and were not checked into our hotel on Stratford until almost 4pm. We then headed quickly into town to see Shakespeare's birthplace. We were able to see the house where Spakespeare grew up and also the attached cottage where he probably lived with Anne Hathaway during the first years of marriage. We then headed to dinner at the Garrick Pub which is in a building that has been a pub since 1594
